It's always a real treat coming back to Mill Fosse cottage but this time, over Christmas, it felt really magical. The decorations were so stunning and it was just perfect coming into a cosy stove in the lounge. We love all of the special touches and feel so well looked after by Helene. It never becomes any easier packing our bags to go home. Until the next time...

Perfect stay in a lovely location. The cottage had everything we needed, and everything was exceptional quality. Cosy bed, soft towels and a lovely log burner to curl up by. We love cooking and enjoyed the challenge of the 'Everhot'. We've had a fantastic time and will be back.

We have stayed in some lovely cottages over the years but Mill Fosse Cottage surpassed them all! Thank you so much for the very thoughtful and generous hamper. The cottage was immaculately clean and so luxurious, we fell in love with so many special features especially the Everhot! We loved Hawes and the surrounding area and we're blessed with lovely weather too. We have been looking for somewhere special to retire to and we have set our heart on Hawes! Until then we will be booking some more time off when we return to work tomorrow and will be booking another stay at the cottage.

Fab! Thank you so much for another perfect stay - your care and attention to detail is unsurpassed, the Christmas decs were wonderful. We'd had a long, tedious journey and were feeling frazzled. To arrive at Mill Fosse Cottage with its gorgeous Christmas wreath on the door and the thoughtful, delicious arrival hamper revived the spirits of us all. We have stayed at many places over the years that we have discovered though Sawday's and I can honestly say that your cottage is the nicest. It has been so beautifully designed to the finest detail and the highest specifications. The living room is so comfortable, the kitchen is so well designed (although it took us a while to get used to the range) and the bedroom is so peaceful. We have stayed in many places now that we would recommend to friends as worth a visit. However this place has raised the bar to a whole new level. We loved your cottage - it was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The bed was so comfortable and all the little touches in decorations and furnishings were beautiful. So many excellent walks direct from the cottage and great places to eat in Hawes - never really needed to move the car. The bathroom was fabulous - lovely toiletries, I particularly loved the scented diffusers. The human and doggie hampers were very welcome. And the kitchen had everything we could need. I don’t think there is anything we would change, we cannot recommend Mill Fosse Cottage highly enough.
