The Experience
Follow the babbling Mill Race to a quiet corner of Hawes to find this beautifully converted piece of Wensleydale history in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. This luxury, one bedroom, dog friendly cottage with its blend of quirky touches, thick stone walls, flagged floors and exposed beams is a cosy, stylish retreat.
Originally built in the early 17th Century and forming part of the old Wensleydale Creamery the cottage which is laid out over three floors offers a lovely mix of old and new.

What we offer
Dining hall with stone flagged floor, underfloor heating and original beamed ceiling.
A hand built painted kitchen, toasty Everhot range, dishwasher and a table with 2 stools to sit and chat.
A dual aspect sitting room with stable door opening onto the granary steps overlooking Gayle Beck and the mill race, smart TV, digital sound system and a log burning stove for cosy evenings.
The luxury stone clad bathroom has underfloor heating, a heated towel rail,
a walk-in rain shower and console basin.
On the top floor is the bedroom with King size Hypnos bed, it has a vaulted ceiling and window overlooking the beck below.
Mill Fosse cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth digital sound system, Smart TV with Netflix access, Smeg toaster & kettle, underfloor heating, wood burning stove, microwave, air fryer, washer/dryer, iron and board. A hairdryer, towels, linen and logs are also provided.
There is a private parking space for one car.
Although there is no garden you can sit on the original Yorkshire stone bench at the front of the cottage and watch the world go by. If you have a dog there are miles of gorgeous walks right from the door.
There are a number of pubs and restaurants, a mini supermarket, deli and cafes all within a minute or two walk from the cottage.
